Clubs and Groups

Our Probus Club sponsors several Groups and Clubs which are open to all members. They (usually) meet monthly, some have a set location, some rotate among members.

Current Affairs Group

The Group meets at Gloucester Presbyterian Church, from 10am to 11 am on the last Tuesday of each month.

Craft Group

The Group meets in the food court at Billings Bridge, on the second Thursday of each month.

Sip and Savour

Meetings are hosted by one of the group on the first Wednesdays, 7 to 9pm. Check for the next host at one of our Probus meetings or ask June Lane.
A bottle of wine and a plate of hord d'oeuvres will assure your welcome. Taking on hosting duties is not mandatory.

Book Club

Book lovers meet on second Wednesdays at 1:30. Hosting rotates around the group. For the next book(s) under the microscope, contact Hazel Fraser.

Euchre

Euchre enthusiasts also meet on second Wednesdays but at 1pm. Hosting rotates around the group.
The contact person is Janet Springer. If you want to join the Book Club as well you know what it is to be euchred.

Bridge the Gap

The gap is the last Friday of the month and it is bridged starting at 1pm. Currently there are 5 players, so there are openings to fill.

Clubs are part of Probus and, as such, members are covered by our insurance. Non-members attend at their own risk.
