May 22nd, Rosanne McNamee
Hearing Health

Rosanne McNamee is a Doctor of Audiology with a passion for keeping people informed about the importance of hearing health and how it impacts our brain health and other bodily systems. As well as a practicing audiologist, she has been on the Board of Directors of the Ontario College of Audiologists and she has taught at the University of OIttawa's Audiology program.

Rosanne is in demand as a speaker and we are lucky that she could fit us in at short notice, especially since May is Speech and Hearing Month in Canada.

We wish Jackie MacDonald a speedy recovery and hope that she will be able to speak to us at a later date.

* * * July In-house Speakers * * *

Do you have a story to share?

Each July, instead of an outside speaker, three members are invited to present to the group about an area of interest, experience or expertise.

In the past members have spoken about:
Hobbies (map collecting, geocaching, wine collecting, gardening), Volunteering (polio eradication in Cameroon, supervising elections in S.W Africa), Travel (bullet trains, antarctic, Turkey), History (Womens Rights Legislation, Titanic, Magna Carta, Holland in Wartime), Local History (Perley-Rideau, Caledonia), Facebook, Aviation, Trials of a Travel Agent and many more.

Presentations are between 10 and 15 minutes long.
It is a wonderful opportunity to help to build our community as we learn more about our interests.
If you would like to present or have any questions about presenting, please speak to Ken Blogg, our program coordinator or email him at kenneth.blogg@gmail.com

 PROBUS' Vital Purpose
